Miers is so not hired
Yes, it's great that a crap nomination to fill Sandra Day O'Connor's shoes has ended! Apparently, the combination of her lack of a paper trail -- combined with Bush's refusal to release said paper trail -- was enough to lead the Senate Judiciary Committee to see this as what it was: a crap nomination.
Wish I could gloat for about a minute, but I'm expecting a freshly hellish nomination to come next.
Oh all right, let's gloat anyway! And peruse her fake, yet entertaining blog.
And all good Californians must get to the polls for the November 8 special election to oppose Proposition 73's parental notification law, which alarmingly teeters on an even split of 45% for and 45% against.

- This law would force teens to go to court and try to navigate an overcrowded and complicated judicial system. Teens don’t need a judge, they need a counselor.
