CA Supreme Court Nullifies Newlyweds

The California Supreme Court ruled an up-yours today to almost 4,000 same-sex couples who wed in San Francisco this year, declaring that the SF Mayor did not have the authority to issue the marriage licenses.

Let me get this...straight. Gays who have been sharing their lives with the same person for decades have no right to legalize their union? But Britney can have any old 55-hour marriage she wants. Riiiiiiiiight.
