moved to tears in song
Local pal Garrett Kamps came to a teeny, intimate secret show in Austin at sxsw starring Kris Kristofferson. He namedrops Nick Tangborn aka my husband in this week's SF Weekly and tell us what he saw.
But something he didn't see was backstage after the show when Kris remembered Nick and the two of them hugged. I got choked up just watching them have "a moment." We also met his wife, Lisa Kristofferson, who was as sweet as the day is long and looked steady and strong as she carried Kris's guitar in a big heavy traveling case that had clearly seen the world.
Like Kamps, I also stood near Jason Lee and can attest that his hair did look totally weird. It was as if Crispin Glover's hairstylist was mad at him and acting out with product on Jason Lee.
Fewer tears (hopefully) will be shed one week from today at the Kelley Stoltz show at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. A night to remember, guaranteed. Tickets here. Only twelve doll hairs.
